About this tower:"The Al Faisaliyah Center (or Al Faisaliah Center, Arabic: برج الفيصلية) is a commercial skyscraper located in the business district of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is the second tallest building in Saudi Arabia after the Kingdom Centre. Immediately below it an outside viewing deck; at ground level, there is a shopping center with major world brands. The Al Faisaliyah Center is about 267 meters high and consists of 44 floors.
The four corner beams of the Al Faisaliyah Center join at the top above a golden ball. The design is said to be based on that of a ballpoint pen. Inside the golden ball is a luxurious revolving restaurant. There is a clear view of Saudi Arabia's other skyscraper, the Kingdom Centre, from the Al Faisaliyah Center and the two buildings create a silhouetted skyline in the evening. The tower was designed by UK based architects Foster and Partners and engineers Buro Happold. It is part of an Al Faisaliyah Complex, which consists of a hotel, the tower, and two other buildings. Actually so far yg dah pegi shopping complex tak de yg macam Jusco...sume mcm KLCC n Pavillion..ayoooo...pastu ada a fews bangunan shopping complex dlm pembinaan, bertampal gambar London bridge, Eifeil Tower la...n macam. Even kat kaki lima sepanjang jalan sume kedai branded. Mcm are bukit Bintang or maybe mcm kat New york or kota Paris kot...hehehe. huh..kedai perabot yang mewah-mewah.mcm nak tgk je dlm rmh dia org camne decoration. mesti high class. Sebelum nie org kata boring kat Riyadh. Tp so far Boring tahap cipan tu blom lagi la. maybe dulu2 ye kot. Skrg Riyadh dah modern. So they r slowly ikut perkembangan semasa. Yg tak di sangka masa jalan2 terjumpa satu bangunan dlm pembinaan dgn banner yg bertulis " Planet Hollywood Opening Soon". So what u say :-) Tp ciri-ciri Islam dan pemerintahan Cara Islam amat lah dikagumi di sini. Tu yg tenang.
Tp yg tak blh blah ialah cara pemanduan dia org. ya Allah. macam Halilintar. lambat sikit kat trafic ligght kene hon. Bagi org potong que kene hon lagi. Dah la sume kreta2 besar giler babaas. tak de yg kecik. Paling kecik pun Toyota yaris. Sume cc besar. Masyaallah. Sini minyak sgt la murah. tu yg cc besar masih boleh lagi. kalu kat M'sia PM pun blum tentu leh pakai Hummer :-)
My hubby plan nak beli kreta Prado... Insyaalah kalu ada rezeki. sini kalu nak g jln kene kreta cc besar especially nak g gurun or nak g buat umrah yg takes aboout 9 hrs driving.
